1. They need a contingent of protestors at Waukesha outside
of the Clerks office too.

Wisconsin knows how when and where to protest, thanks.

Somehow, these admonitions carry a different flavor when they come from within our borders--sort of like mutual cheering on--as opposed to from outside, particularly when the voces from a distance are unfamiliar with our laws & culture.

7. Yes, my city is one of the reddest in this red county, too.
We belong in Alabama or something.

Thanks. :)

11. I think of Waukesha as being more big-money redness,
more country-club conservative than cultureal-conservative redness.

But it's been 35 years since I lived in Milwaukee, and then only for a couple of years, so I may be relying on old and inaccurate memories.

14. No, that's accurate. Though you'll see occasional flying of the confederate flag in the poorer areas
which always makes me :\ since we're IN WISCONSIN.

This is the area where Sensenbrenner's family home is. It's "Lake Country" where the tiny summer cottages on the many lakes have been bulldozed and replaced with big huge McMansions and off the lakes, gated communities keep them "safe" from the riff-raf.

9. There are times when you almost wish "Red" had its old meaning:

6. We're all a little jumpy right now.
My wife has to keep pulling me down from the ceiling. In between times when I'm pulling her down from the ceiling.

I've been getting a lot of outside work done lately, just to get away from it all. With this stuff going on I absolutely can't focus on my professional work, so I gave myself a little vacation from it.
