My Dad and I have looked into this before (We both have it - genetic link back through at least four generations we have records for).

We discussed it with our former Neurologist (great guy, we tried everything at least once), and I don't remember what the outcome was off the top of my head (no pun intended) - I'll have to ask my dad later.
It coiuld be time to retry/relook into it.

Unfortunately everyone today is on the rebound theory. I have had rebound before and they feel different than normal migraines but most docs either have no clue or they are just blind to the fact that it doesn't work on everyone.
As is, I have had a Migraine everyday for the last 10-15 years (it starts to all meld together after five).

Acupuncture - check
Bio-feedback - Check (and still use it)
BoTox - Check
Nerve Block - Check
Nerve Freeze - Check
Hormones - Check
Preventatives - Check
Imitrex and derivatives - In the .007% of population that has very severe reaction to it.

11. Well I might expect good things judging from all the things I've heard from people

who were at their wits end. If you need "scientific" info or "medical info" I recommend this book which was written by 25 medical docs. They witnessed what would normally be referred to as miracles and put it in writing.
