US Rep Tammy Baldwin (D-Wi) calls for election investigation.
http://www.jsonline.com/newswatch/119532844.html

U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder asking for a federal investigation into the handling of vote records in Waukesha County in the wake of Tuesday's election for the state Supreme Court.

Baldwin's office said she sent the letter Friday night.

Baldwin wrote Holder: "Following this week's election for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, numerous constituents have contacted me expressing serious doubt that this election was a free and fair one. They fear, as I do, that political interests are manipulating the results."

3. I said that in a previous reply to a DU post.
These are manufactured votes. Someone in power didn't like the results. ' Oops ' doesn't work in an election. Specifically, I think it is people that didn't vote that were located on the voter roles and appear to have voted by manipulation. I think it is a common practice. Who would know.

4. Congress needs to come up with new legislation
to update the horrible HAVA failings before 2012 elections. Give the DOJ better rules to follow and ability investigate.

5. A statewide audit of the voting for Supreme Court justice should be undertaken.
As I pointed out in another thread, a valid hypothesis would be that the alleged "mistake" in reporting the votes in Waukesha county was a planned distraction about vote counting in order to prevent attention being paid to devious tactics such as "vote flipping" taking place in other right wing counties.

A magician performs his magic tricks by distracting his audience to look "here" while he sets up the illusion over "there".

The purpose of the "mistake" in reporting the votes in Waukesha was as a backup plan to prevent a statewide recount of votes in which irregularities such as "vote flipping" could be discovered in other predominantly right wing counties.

No matter what the outcome in Waukesha County, a thorough investigation into the voting in other counties should be considered.
