Pelosi noncommittal on budget deal - The HIll
Just say no, Nancy.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) early Saturday morning declined to immediately embrace the budget deal President Obama struck with the GOP.

Pelosi told The Hill she had not yet reviewed the agreement.

Asked if the White House kept her informed of the negotiations, Pelosi responded, "The president told me, but I haven't seen a piece of paper."

It remains to be seen how many House Democrats will back the bill. Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) quickly criticized the budget agreement, tweeting that it reminded him of the tax deal Obama endorsed late last year.

"I gotta bad feeling," he said.

So they have voted on it, Obama is getting ready to sign it
and she has not seen the bill yet.

Sounds like a real good way to run a country.

four or five days so that everybody can read the budget bill before the vote, I think Boehner is taking credit for that (but somehow I doubt he was alone on wanting people to read it.

1. Pelosi will whip just enough votes..
...for it to pass, barely, and only because Boehner can't deliver his own majority.

Which will wound him. The next time it happens -- on debt-ceiling legislation -- it will cost him his gavel.

Boehner will not be Speaker on Christmas.

5. Yikes. Like the "the tax deal Obama endorsed late last year"?
That sure was a big win for the poor and the middle class, huh?
:sarcasm:
