UMass scientists get award for tutoring software
AMHERST, Mass.—Two University of Massachusetts computer scientists have won a $250,000 award to support development of their mathematics tutoring software.

Woolf, Arroyo and others have been working for years to create what they say is an intelligent and emotionally perceptive math tutoring software called "Wayang Outpost."
