Ultimately, the Dems Failure began in 2007 when they failed to end bush's wars.
After American demanded that bush's wars stop, WE the people gave the Dems control of the House where they should have denied funding to the wars. After all, it's the wars that are a big part of the budget problem.

Instead, the wars continue wasting money and the jokers who started them are looking down on the American people and proclaiming that the people who DESPISE bush's wars are to blame for the budget problems. They demand cuts in domestic spending and this time the House is listening while Elite Republicans and their hillbilly racist followers do nothing to end the wars.

The Democrats have been failing for 4 years.

2. I'd make that more than 4 years...
maybe a couple decades.

But when you're dealing with a chronically ill patient, you do have crises that look like events unto themselves.

4. Okay so please remind me who in Congress blocked
everything for 2 years from 2008 -2010?

300 Bills sat at the doorstep of the Senate and that's where they died.....but blame the Democratic party that's right....Place the blame where it needs to be....

Anybody? Anyone remember....No....really?

The Democratic party did not fail and is not failing...perhaps that's what some want....who knows....never let the Democratic facts get in the way of a mission.....

5. *DE-FUNDING* doesn't require the acquiescence of the Senate *OR* the White House.
The House can simply choose to *NOT FUND* something.

The Republicans in the House are about to show you
how this works.

7. It really probably started in 1980, when we failed to support Carter
the schism that developed (some for Kennedy, others lukewarm for Carter) ushered in the rise of "conservatism".

Prior to that time, even republicans were somewhat sensible. Eisenhower was quite liberal & forward-thinking, Nixon was NO conservative, Ford was just a placeholder...

We were at the start of a journey to energy independence and eventual prosperity, but it all came to a screeching halt when reagan came along...and we have been on defense ever since.
