14. As long as the votes are on that pc respect it - we do not want them
to refuse to investigate it after it has been tampered with. Be careful.

12. Yes they do. The software in Optical Scanners tallies the votes and can be manipulated
by anyone choosing to do so. The paper ballots fed into an optical scanner need to match the tally on the software tallied totals.

11. OK...Optical Scanners that read a ballot and software tallies the votes. The software that tallies
the votes can still be manipulated. The paper ballot totals should match the software tallied total.

Republican county clerk with a questionable past (perhaps because of another human error) who had her own unique computer methods from all the other counties. And never mind what's been going on with Fitzwalkerstan -- their win-at-all-costs, despotic attitudes have nothing to do with the clerk's awfully convenient human error.

Please don't try to make us look silly. All the talk about election fraud is just "Bull. Shit.".

17. I don't think a massive hacker attack will rally the people to our cause.
Maybe if the hackers would do something more grown up like making an argument supporting labor directly to the people.

You know, intelligent discourse. with the people and not the govt...

Frankly I am concerned when illegal activity is routinely connected to progressive activism.
At some point anonymous may actually hurt the cause they claim to promote.

20. Seeing what can be learned about ALEC wouldn't hurt
The section of their website that contains their model legislation is members-only, and they're doing their best to deny that all this identical anti-labor legislation comes from them. So it would be nice to know what they're really pushing to their members.

The front page of their website is http://www.alec.org/AM/Template.cfm?Section=Home

When you go to any of the Model Legislation sections and try to click on a topic, you get a message saying, "The page you have attempted to access is restricted to our members. If you are an existing member, please log in to gain access to the protected areas of our site. You are not currently logged in, please click here to do so."

Be nice to know what's really inside.
