Also good to see the anger that is visible at this rally.

For Japan, 10,000 is a big number.

13. It's a cohesive society, and Asian-polite for sure. Rebellion there is unusual
Thailand still has Red Shirts in the streets. They're polite too, but will hit the pavement whenever. The Japanese on a flatbed truck with a rock band on it reminds me of Thais - anything is a party.

Americans are apathetic and distracted, especially many younger folks. It's cool to be cynical and not o a damn thing. It'll come back to bite us all pretty soon.
