Jealous of Orly Trump, Palin flirts with birtherism
Edited on Sun Apr-10-11 03:19 AM by Adenoid_Hynkel
Sarah Palin was interviewed live today on Fox News’ Justice with Judge Jeanine, and was asked to weigh in on the rather sudden addition of Donald Trump’s voice to the “Birther movement“, as well as the money “The Donald” is devoting to researching the existence of the president’s birth certificate. Palin’s answer? She noted it wasn’t that unthinkable for Trump to be curious about Obama’s birth certificate, as it was an issue that has transfixed a sizable segment of the body politic.

She expressed hope that perhaps Trump’s piles of money would be the key ingredient missing from prior investigations of the President’s birthplace; Orly Taitz, despite having about 10 jobs, doesn’t have a hotel in New York City —know what I mean? Palin also expressed hope that Trump’s money and resources could counter the $2 million she claims Obama has spent to keep the certificate hidden from the public. Her attitude suggested a quiet, but not overt, encouragement of Trump’s investigation.

Jeanine switched gears, asking Palin what she personally thought of the controversy surrounding Obama’s American citizenship. Again, her answer was shrewd. “I believe he was born in Hawaii,” she stated, citing the announcement of his birth in the paper. Leading with this response was smart. She appeared credible, rational and moderate. Palin also managed to pander to her base, adding that the president’s decision not to release his birth certificate was “perplexing.”

1. Go on girl!
I am starting to imagine the repub field for 2012 will be a room full of babbling birthers. Palin should really jump in there. The more the merrier.

Orly Trump -

3. Ha! Good one.
Stones, glass houses, mysterious babies, and all that.

Too bad no one in the media has the guts to actually call her out on that.

Poor kid. I wouldn't wish being born into that family on any child.

5. Desperation Hail Mooselini...
Grifterella's star has taken a big fall in recent months. She's no longer the "sexy" face of wingnutia...that's Michelle of Iowa...err New Hampshire. A recent poll didn't even have her in the top 5 or above 5 percent...and she's lost her "mojo". She's quickly becoming irrelevant in the parallel universe and thus she's gonna try to climb back aboard the Crazy Train and hope to get attention.

Six months ago the corporate media was all but conceeding the GOTB nomination to her and her "mama grizlies". Now she's fallen off the radar...and that's surely gotta be hitting her pocketbook as well. Hope she put some of that blood libel money away, she's gonna need it.

6. Wake me when she shows us HER birthing papers
just on her latest child.. Using the sob-story/cliffhanger of it all is what made her a sympathetic/heroic character, and ushered her into our lives..

had she been exposed as the charlatan grifter/liar we know her to be, and she never became famous and would still be governor of alaska, doing a mediocre job..but out of our consciousness.,.

7. Well, she's always flirting with the teabaggers, so
it's not much of a stretch for her. She's now grasping at any straws she can find to halt her tumble into irrelevance.

Ha. She is taking th uptown birther approach of Chucklebee. The Republicans just can't make themselves say the right thing - that this is a stupid and reprehensible "issue" which should not see the light of day because it is lies made up of whole cloth.
