because it has implication for the creation of universal health care down the road. It is a forgone conclusion that it will happen, as I talk with many of the younger generation who embrace the idea of universal health care. Currently, though the Tea Party wants to turn the clock back, that is why they are considered anti-progressive. To be progressive you have to look forward to the future.

Now that we completely failed on health care reform. If we'd been able to eliminate private insurance we'd be money ahead. Of course we can't say socialized, or government run, or anything implying that everyone would be covered. There is too much money to be made in insuring us for anything close to this to happen. So we'll continue to pay corporate insurance and be subjected to corporate death panels. And we'll scream "YEAH FOR AMERICA" because we're not socialists. "yeah, woohoo, we have teabags on our hats"
