I saw a post about the left needing its own tea party like movement. What would be a good name? I think Treebaggers is a good start.

11. How about "The True Tea Party"

Since the Boston Tea Party was actually a protest against a multinational corporation, and specifically against tax breaks that were given to that corporation.

The current Tea Party is misnamed. It is just the opposite of the original. They seem to support corporate agendas.

If a group named "The True Tea Party" put out a mission statement and could get publicity, it would at least force the current so called tea party to defend their comparison of themselves to the actual Boston tea party. This could get the public discussing what the original act in Boston was really about.
