Mitt Romney is officially running for president
You guys won't believe this, but Willard "Mitt" Romney is running for president! Not that he ever really stopped. But consider today's launch of a presidential exploratory committee an official reboot of the popular plastic Mittens brand.

We've been suffering on a minute-by-minute basis ever since February 7, 2008 at 1:07 p.m. ET, when Romney ended his first presidential campaign at CPAC. He's too much fun. Check out his announcement YouTube above, in which he says "Believe in America" from some empty football stadium for a couple of minutes.

3. He should be painted as an out of touch flip flopping elitist from MA (of all places) as soon

as he starts campaigning. But I won't hold my breath for Democratic strategists coming up with an effective strategy.

8. They will not need to
Rethugs will do this.

The Democratic Party needs to stay away from the Rethug Primary, the terrorist wing of the GOP, commonly called the Tea Party will create enough havoc.

4. I've officially announced I wouldn't vote for him in a million years.
This guy is more plastic than Ken. And probably sports the same "package," if you know what I mean.

10. On paper,
Ken is one of a very few republicans who could create problems for President Obama. Obviously, the economy is in sad shape, and -- again, on paper -- he could present as a capable business-minded politician.

In real life, he splits their party three ways. One faction might go third party. Worse for him, he would be expected to debate the President in a series of at least three meetings.

14. Gee, I didn't see that coming...
"Believe in America." How clever. Believing in Mitwit's vision of America is like believe in the tooth fairy - one that pulls the teeth and doesn't leave any quarters.

19. He will be forced to go "full birther" to keep up with Trump, Huckabee, Palin, Bachmann and
Gingrich. Otherwise, he is out of it with the republican base.

You know what - good point. Didn't think of that. My wife keeps
telling me about these polls that are now saying that a majority of republicans now believe Obama wasn't born a citizen. He has to pander to those people.

This could get really interesting.

23. No Mormon will win the nomination of the R party
I live in Utah. I was shocked the first time I saw Christian fundies protesting the Mormons outside their own church during their yearly festival or whatever it's called. The hatred that fundie Christians have for Mormons is amazing. It almost made me feel bad for them. Almost...
