Bachmann: Health care ruined deal
Source: Omaha World Herald-AP

PELLA, Iowa (AP) — Minnesota congresswoman Michele Bachmann says she voted against the federal budget compromise because it failed to remove funding for the health care bill enacted last year.

The Republican is considering a campaign for the 2012 presidential nomination.

Bachmann was among only six Republicans to oppose the deal.

She says she was disappointed with the bill, adding that "voters expected us to defund Obama-care."

Interesting statement. So you can't be Progressive and post negative Obama posts? This ass-clown disagrees with you.

16. That's right, any failure by the President means he is "just like" Bachmann
I think everyone can agree with that. Nuance makes my brain hurt. Give me Roy Rogers over William Munny every time.

3. Nah, she doesn't come to Minnesota. Why would she?
She's not planning to run here again, I don't think. She may take a losing stab at Amy Klobuchar's Senate seat in 2012, but she'll lose dramatically. Amy has a lot of support from moderate Republicans because, gosh darn it, people like her.

I'm not hearing much about anything she's doing in the House, either. I guess she has other things to do most of the time.

20. Yeah if the health care bill didn't save so much money
It'd be easy to repeal it; you just can't do it on grounds of fiscal responsibility. Going back to the old way would generate less revenue and cost more money. It would increase the deficit, which as we all know, is the Most Important Issue Facing the Country right now.

I wonder why Ms. Bachmann doesn't know this? Or why all the reporters currently panting after her on the not-campaigning trail don't inform her of this obvious fact? It's almost as if they want to mislead the public. Very odd.

21. Crazy-eyes Bachmann and those of her hypocrite teabagger ilk
Are NOT "pro-life" they are ONLY pro-fetus.

After a fetus "becomes" an infant, if its mother lacks the funds, insurance, and/or credit to pay for the birth and any complications arising from or after it, then both mother and/or infant can just drop dead upon the delivery room floor.
