2. I voted the same way.
Are you an activist in real life? I am, and have been for a long time. In my experience, the Democrats at the local level are quite a bit further to the left than the leadership at the top. We kill ourselves out here to raise money and GOTV. What do we get in return? People who sell us out. What is there to be happy about?

11. I go to marches and rallies, but that is about the extent of it.
I am a full time college student and I am married and have children.

4. I'm mostly unhappy with this administration, but....
... I fault the party 'cause no one in elective office is calling bullshit.

6. what puzzles me...
bush had his cronies -- rumsfeld, cheney, rove, et al. that were always out there in the news propping him up.

I often feel like Obama seems to be out there on his own - he doesn't have enough cheerleaders in the media like bush did. where is biden, for one?

(please do not take this like I am saying Obama needs to be LIKE bush) I just wish he had more outspoken, recognizable people representing him and us in the media.

12. 15 years? LUXURY!

My car is 20 years old. It was made the same year I graduated high school. Seriously.

10. "the Democratic party" is what we make of it
If you want to see some of the best Democrats in the country, come on out to Wisconsin. I didn't know we had truly great Democrats until I saw how they responded to our Governor.

Do we have great Democrats in Federal offices? Some of them are pretty fantastic. Others, not so much. I don't think I can praise them all or lump them all together. But I think I'm going to stick around for awhile, because my Democratic Senators showed me what Democracy looks like.
