I paid more in taxes this year than General Electric did.
More than likely, so did you.
I just cut a $1024 check to Uncle Sam for my federal tax shortfall.
Both what I paid in and the make-up check were more than a multi-billion in profits international corporation paid in taxes.
Something is wrong.

What are we going to do about it?

12. I paid less than my fair share
I really don't get to upset about taxes considering I receive a heck of a lot more than I pay for in taxes.

You did notice that Obama recently appointed the head of GE, Jeff Immelt, to his economic advisory team?

11. He's probably looking to GE for a big campaign donation too. Screw Obama, let GE and BP fund his

re-election.

15. Didn't everybody? They paid 0% so any one paying a simple sales
tax has paid more than they did.
