Nebraska man arrested for praying naked on the street, says he doesn't know why he was nude

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Police said a man praying in the nude was arrested on a public street west of downtown Lincoln, Neb., on Sunday.

Capt. Jim Davidsaver said that a passer-by reported seeing 26-year-old Yai Yai Akon early Sunday, kneeling and looking to the sky.

When an officer asked Akon why he was nude, he said he didn't know.

Akon was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure.

If being nekkid as a jaybird is indecent exposure (and believe me, for me it would be totally indecent), and you're not even wearing a smile when the cops apprehend you, I'd say there's more than a suspicion involved. But maybe Lincoln cops are a deliberate bunch.
