11. I used to think Obama was some kind of right-winger in disguise.

But you know, over the last few months I've come to change my mind. I think he's just a modern executive. The modern executive doesn't give a shit about what the company produces, how the people employed there are doing, what broader effects his company is having on the world... none of that matters. He wants to get in, get his, and get out-- and that's it. If he wrecks the place in the process, who cares. He'll squeeze every bit of benefit he can from the place before he deploys that golden parachute.

This sort of action is the only thing he could listen to, and even then, only if it threatens his shots at reelection (assuming he cares to do another term instead of going straight to the corporate pay-off circuit).
