I have a question about budget policy. |
|
Republicans have made the case that the deficit and debt is too high and they have proposed budgets they claim will correct this, but... I have noticed that a few Republicans propose spending cuts, but at the same time want to cut revenue by almost the same amount as the spending cuts.
How does this budget concept address the deficit and debt? (I get that there is probably some kind of wishful thinking that tax cuts will increase jobs and tax revenue in the future. I don't think this has ever worked has it?)

After this shot, you want to leave the cue ball in the best position for your next shot.
So...
1) Cut spending,
2) Cut revenue as well,
3) Go right back to number one.
Eventually, the government will have no money and everyone will be at the mercy of the new slave-owners.
That's their plan.
