Why so much coverage for Bachmann? |
|
Edited on Wed Apr-13-11 07:43 AM by Stuart G
Bachmann is in, and Palin is out. It stems from the "blood libel" comment by Palin after the shooting in Arizona. It was reported that Palin consulted with Roger Ailies before making the statement ... .. Alies it is reported was somewhat angry because Palin asked him for advise, and she rejected it totally. Evidently Alies told Palin to stay out of that. No reason to make Palin the center of attention at that point in time. ..Alies is quoted as saying something to the effect that... why should she call..(and Alies is her boss at Fox) if she isn't going to listen. What a waste of time!! ..so ....Alies and his crew are downgrading Palin. Much less coverage, quotes.interviews...etc...The right wing media can make someone, and now they will tear her down. Palin's speaking jobs will decrease, and she will be around less and less. Oh, she will never be completely gone. So.., I believe there is now an ongoing, strong effort to "downgrade her" and replace her.. So, Bachmann, who is just as much a nut job, is a temporary stand in. You gotta have a nut job lady out there.
It is not about them anyway..it is about destroying the middle class and helping the rich get richer These nutjobs are a sideshow..

2. I think you have it exactly right. |
|
You know, I almost feel sorry for all those poor saps, all those brainless rubes, particularly the women, who have invested so much of their energy into believing that Sarah is actually someone good and viable and worthy.
Almost.
I don't think that Bachmann has the same quality (whatever it is), and will never have the same kind of support that Sarah has (had?).
So yes, there will be another pretty nutjob lady along any minute now. Christine O'Donnell applied for the job, but couldn't quite cut it...
