A Real and Progressive FY 2012 Budget
The Congressional Progressive Caucus has put out a FY2012 Budget. From those who have bothered to glance at it, it has received high praise; trouble is the media isn't talking about it.

This budget should be getting as much play as Ryan's, but the "leftwing" media isn't saying a thing about it.

Time to kick this into high gear and break the perception that the only proposed budget that exists is on the right.

Jeffrey Sachs, Economist and Director of the Earth Institute, Columbia University, on the CPC FY2012 Budget:

"Their plan is humane, responsible, and most of all sensible, reflecting the true values of the American people and the real needs of the floundering economy. Unlike Paul Ryan's almost absurdly vicious attack on the poor and working class, the People's Budget would close the deficit by raising taxes on the rich, taming health care costs (including a public option), and ending the military spending on wars and wasteful weapons systems."

Kick this and recommend to help proliferate it!

If you're on Facebook, jump on the CPC FB site and "like" their page. DUers should be able to triple or quadruple their number of followers (it's only 1,500 right now).
