Tea partier on MSNBC.
Why do we give these assholes air time? I'm waiting for him to start screaming Socialism and Communism. Oh and can someone help me refute his lie that the top 10% pay 70% of all taxes. Oh, I wonder if the so called liberal media of MSNBC would allow a member of the Socialist party air time to give a reaction?

13. The top 5% own 60% of
all the wealth in the country and should pay that portion of the taxes.

Eisenhower administration, who was, you remember, a Republican - 92%.

5. They are the mouthpieces of the corporatocracy
and the media is the organ of that propaganda.

It's the root problem causing fascism here.
There's a word for that, and law too.

19. I don't know what proportion of taxes the richest 10% pay, but they receive the lion's share
of the money in this country. I believe I saw on Thom Hartmann that from 1980-2005, 80% of the wealth in this country went to the richest 1%. Next time a teabagger cries poverty on behalf of the elite, ask that person if he thinks the richest 1% or 10% should only pay 1% or 10% of the taxes when they're receiving a much higher proportion of the income.

I hear that canard thrown out on RW radio all the time. Apparently they think the Kochs, Waltons, et al should be taxed at a lower rate than they already are? Even though people like Warren Buffett have said that he pays a smaller percentage of his income than his secretary?
