They were $2.41 in 2009. if you buy heating oil anywhere, you must be happy the winter is finally over.

Someone is making a lot of money on the backs of the poor and middle class.

4. We ran out of oil 2 months ago. And ran out of firewood 2 weeks ago.
It's cold in here. And hubby is sick, wish I could turn up the heat for him but we don't have any, 2 space heaters are doing the best they can. I don't know what we will do next year, I am hoping we can afford to buy 4 cords of firewood and that should get us through. Thank goodness we are both able to stack and haul the stuff. I am hoping we can get half a tank of oil and make it last all winter ( we keep the thermostat set to 55) by using the wood stove. I joke with friends that we could die of exposure in our house but really it's no joke. And then I think of others who have it worse and get very sad and worried. This winter was hard, what if next winter is worse?
