OMFG - Obama has a Pennsylvania Problem!
Behind the Mitts by a point, ahead of the Huckster by a point and only two points on Man/Dog as per PPP.

Same outfit who called PA close last election, I believe Obama won a squeaker, by 11 POINTS!

5. You don't want to come here. This will be the most polluted, ugly place in the U.S. in a few years.
The Marcellus drilling is ruining PA forever. The coal mines were a blight on the environment, but this Marcellus thing is a monster.

3. Pennsylvania has a governor problem.
They elected a real asshole who wants to sell of the state gamelands to private 'investors' aka natural gas drillers.

4. Link to the details for the poll. Only 8% of respondents were under 30. 62% were over 45.

It's interesting, too, that the polling on the hypothetical presidential races was so close when there was a much greater difference in favorability ratings.

I wouldn't pay much attention to this poll. Especially with it skewed that heavily toward older voters.

7. which is EXACTLY the games they played in 2008
to make the poll results close. I just found it funny that Tweety had to do a quick segment on this poll.

6. Hahaha .... here's why ...
PA is Philly to the East, Pittsburgh to the West ... and Alabama in between.

I grew up there. That's an old description, and its still pretty accurate.

9. Your are lucky then, because Indiana is Alabama from border to
border and is over run with right wing, fox viewing, rush listening, shit for brains morons. Now we have the new rising star of the GOP, Mitch Daniels, who wants to do for America what he has done for Indiana, but hey the precedent has already been set. We already had one Governor from an ass back wards state (Texas) destroy a state then move on to fuck up an entire country (W).

8. It's so early - way too early to look at the polls
I believe that President Obama will build his base again and the wave will happen. It is going to take democratic feet on the ground and people like me and you to volunteer and get people motivated.

All this shows me is that it is time to get started. We can take nothing for granted this time. We have a huge base of people from 2008 that need to be contacted and engaged again. Organization is key and OFA is on it.

www.barackobama.com - looking for community leaders right now to be trained on how to organize and spread the word.

Have faith and keep your spirits high! If the GOP keeps on the way they are, they are going to make this easier for us.

Shine on,
Annette
