10. I have a kid occasionally harass me about our blood center bus

in Moscow, Idaho. Moscow is where the U of I is and there are a lot of environmentalists there. I'm usually on their side. One time he was right that we could have been parked in a better place and I moved the bus.
We have to run a diesel generator for blood drives. It's runs pretty clean but the exhaust is an issue. He's complained and tried to force us to run on electric power. We can but it requires being able to plug in and the cord also becomes an issue. We never do it.
I told him that even using electricity we are impacting the environment somewhere. I have to resist using my W.C. Fields impression on him, "get outta here kid, ya bother me."

California and Texas (Among other states) permit 50cc or smaller engine mopeds (And electric engines of the same amount of power) to operate on the public road WITHOUT a license, but my home state of Pennsylvania requires ANYTHING with an engine to be registered with the state and HAVE a License. Sounds like Best Buy does NOT want to get into registration of Motor Vehicles in those states that REQUIRE such registration IF the bike is intended to be used on public roads (Pennsylvania even requires licenses on vehicles that operate only off road UNLESS it is used on property owned by the owner of the vehicle OR the owner of the Vehicle has the express written permission of the owner of the property).

Many states, Pennsylvania is among those states, REQUIRE anything on the road that has a motor or engine to be licensed AND the person operating said vehicle also have a license. If the Vehicle has a motor, and it is NOT licensed and you are not licensed it is illegal to use such a vehicle on the public roads of Pennsylvania.

And why it may NOT extend to the rest of the nation. The seller does NOT want to get into registration of these electric cycles (which include annual inspections) and thus why this is only a West Coast item as opposed to the rest of the nation.

Something like this comes up every so many years on DU and people need to know what is legal is some states are NOT legal in others. Electric Mopeds is an example of that, in some states it is NOT a motor vehicle in others it is a motor vehicle.
