the chairman of the senate investigations committee is recomending goldman sachs be prosecuted for their actions during the financial crisis.. Its about damn time.. The evidence is pretty cleat the manipulated the market and helped almost destroy the economy..
besides going after the executives its time to go after the company itself.. charge the company with a couple of felonies. If convicted goldman is out of business. a company convicted of a felony cant trade .. all their assets get transfered to other firms. the only ones who get hurt are the employees and investors in goldman.. its time to make an example of them.. let wall street know that fucking around with the economy has a price. prision for the top execs and death for the company.

the company has all but admitted lying as they sold what would be worthless securities while getting short the secutities themselves,one of the biggest causes of the panic.

why would you want the government to own an investment bank all you have to do is convict them of 1 felony.. as a company convicted of a felony they are out of business . thats what happened to ef hutton in the 80's. they were kiting checks..
