Why aren't Birthers equal with their birther questions? (Quitter)

The Gawker item spurred a long brawl in the readers' comments, with one of them wanting to shut down discussion on the Quitter-esque victim grounds that an innocent child with Downs should not be trashed. Plus she claimed, which was discredited, that Downs children are ONLY born to older women. This has nothing to do with the child, just with Quitter's presentations. Also, besides Quitter being a public figure, Bristol has been raking in craploads of moohlah off of her pregnancy ---bizarrely, cashing "abstinence" checks from having been pregnant--- so, why shouldn't she be accountable?

Note: In the section about the Mc5planes' campaign statement denying that Bristol could be the mother because she was 5 months' pregant, the article makes a case that she was 4 months' pregant and could have been the mother.

Business Insider — An interesting footnote has emerged to a theory that raged around the Internet during Sarah Palin's candidacy for Vice President. The theory is that Sarah Palin is actually the grandmother of her purported son Trig, not the mother, and that she staged a gigantic hoax during the campaign to cover up this fact.

Professor Bradford Scharlott of Northern Kentucky University has looked into this story in detail and written a long academic article about it. He concludes two things: First, that the "conspiracy theory" is likely true—Sarah Palin staged a huge hoax, and, second, the American media is pathetic for not pursuing the story more aggressively.

Scharlott's article walks through all the evidence supporting the theory, including the photos of Palin in what is said to have been a late-stage pregnancy, the leisurely 20-hour trip home that Palin took after she supposedly went into labor in Texas, the refusal of the hospital where Trig was supposedly born to even confirm that he was born there (let alone who was the mother), strange statements from Palin's doctor and the McCain campaign, and so on. ....

Syndrome baby. If he died due to complications with the birth, then it's God's Will and not some cynical ploy. That made more sense to me than the whole not-pregnant meme, but what do I know? The whole "wanting him born in Alaska for some nebulous reason" is just so very lame. Unless they're planning on seceding from the union or something and they wanted him born in Alaska...;)
