Stop Typing and Join us this Saturday, April 16 at the Capitol in Madison! :)

Help us welcome (and drown out) the Tea Baggers...

On Saturday, April 16th, tea party patriots from throughout Wisconsin will gather at the state Capitol in Madison for a rally to celebrate past victories and rally for Wisconsin’s future. The event will be emceed by talk show host James T. Harris and will feature John Fund columnist for The Wall Street Journal.

I found this on that "other site"
"Tell everybody to bring vuvuzelas... and blow the horns for 30 seconds at 1:00, then scream; “CAN YOU HEAR US NOW” :spray:

TEA Party Rally April 16th ~ AFP & other WI Patriot Groups (Madison WI, Capitol, Noon)

Speakers include Vicki Mckenna and Tony Katz. Mark Belling may also be there.

"Americans for Prosperity" (Koch Brothers) are bussing them in from 10 cities around the state ...

BONUS!!
The season's first Farmer's Market (around the Capitol square) will also be going on that day 6:00am- 2pm.

Tax Day Tea Party

Americans for Prosperity presents Tax Day Tea Party Madison 2011.

This event will be a Victory Celebration of the 2010 Election Results and a recognition of the people who made it happen (candidates and citizens) as well as a call to action in preparation for the battles we will face in the coming year.

This event is not sponsored by the RPDC and is shared here as a service to our members who may be interested in attending. More information can be found at http://americansforprosperity.org/wisconsin.

Senator Jon Kyl of Arizona will be there too...

Tea Party Counter Rally - It's our house!

We MUST show them that we won't let outside organizations and big businesses drown out the message of the people.
Counter demonstration being planned now.
Let's show 'em how we really feel about Americans for Prosperity.

* Milwaukee Ironworkers Union says...
We can NOT let the teabaggers think we gave up!! Keep momentum on our side. Every teabag source thinks we're done
If you can possibly make it PLEASE do

* FORWARD! Marching Band will be there, so bring your instruments, drums, and singing voices!

Get there early and claim valuable real estate...

4. Nope, got recall petitions to get signed - only 3 more weeks to get sigs- why are
they having it at the same time as farmers market??? The lying liars will probably include the farmers and shoppers in their inflated crowd count.

7. No I haven't
because it keeps changing!!! I've been trying to get work done today, but somehow I keep getting drawn back into thinking about it, and making little sketches. The way my life goes, I'll end up taking my posterboard and markers with me tomorrow, to draw or write something at the last minute. :eyes:

On the other hand, I HAVE decided what I'm taking for my noisemaker. I usually have a cheap, but LOUD "Mega Horn" from Walgreens that I toot on for the Democrabeep, and just to make noise in general. But my sister called, and we started talking about pots and pans and drums, so while on the phone, I was testing out various pots to beat on. I found one that sounds pretty good, it has two handles for tying a rope on, and it's RED!!! Very festive!!! :bounce: I'm sure my S.O., who was trying to get work done in HIS office, really appreciated hearing me test out my pots and pans for the Democrabeat.

OK, back to work for me!

10. Glad to hear that The Koch Party is facing some opposition.
Glad more people who thought they were in tea parties are realizing they're supporting Koch Parties.
