"Obama's plan didn't work..."

Some congressman, with black shoe polish in his hair, just said this on Contessa's show on MSNBC. Rep Tom Graves of Georgia said it was time to try something different. Obama's plan simply didn't work. Isn't that debatable?

We are not in a deep depression right now. The unemployment rate could be a lot worse. President Obama was left holding a big bag of crap from Bush and the Republicans. So, it could be argued that the economy is now back on the rebound, however slightly, and that we have escaped an economic tsunami?

But Republicans like Graves say that the Obama plan never worked. Well, I guess we will never know for sure but I do believe it could have been and would have been much worse under McCain and the Republicans. Even the healthcare plan that so many hate will decrease the deficit that is/was a dramatic drag on the economy. It needs more done but just where did the Obama plan not work?

weakened the stimulus, but we are still better off than we would have been. i think we should have invested in rebuilding roads, bridges, expanding broadband, lots of infrastructure stuff. but the republicans insisted on shit that didn't really help and now that their junk food additions made the stimulus less effective than it could have been, they are going to try to blame obama for it.

It's bullshit. It didn't fail. Without it, we'd be in much worse shape. They never mention that.

So really, how has Obama "failed"? He hasn't - not in the way these propaganda peddlers are claiming.

WHAT WE HAVE TRIED is the bullshit supply-side trickle-down crap that they're still pushing. We've tried it for DECADES (particularly the last TWO) - speaking of "plans that didn't work" - how about that one?
