They're being bussed in from 10 Wisconsin cities but had to cancel the LaCrosse bus due to lack of interest from LaCrosse Tea Party

$100 grand (iirc) just for stepping off the plane; in addition to all the PAC donations and books/wares/whatever she can hock...

8. From Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal
Nancy Mistele, a Madison politician and participant in the rally, also said Thrusday that Palin would appear at the rally while on Vicki McKenna's radio show that broadcasts in Milwaukee on WISN-AM (1130). WTMJ-AM (620) radio host James T. Harris is scheduled to emcee the rally.

18. It seems Palin is always doing this - an "in your face"
reaction to some event that was a progressive success. So she prances into Madison like a Queen of the Teabaggers. I hope she is met with tens of thousands of protestors.

19. DAMN
my only complaint is that there are too many sign possibilities, and I have to narrow it down! I suppose it could be like hosting the Oscars, and we all could change our outfits (signs) at each commercial break!

28. link
http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2011/04/palin-headed-to-madison-wisconsin-this-weekend.php

And check out this nugget from the paper's report:

Americans for Prosperity is organizing busses to the event. Last year's gathering featured former Republican Gov. Tommy Thompson and others.

Americans for Prosperity is, of course, a Koch financed group. The Koch name has popped up quite a bit in the Wisconsin protests -- most notably after Walker's 20-minute phone call in late February with blogger Ian Murphy, who was posing as David Koch. During that call, Walker discussed his ideas for tricking the Democrats into coming back by pretending to negotiate, his ambition to bust the public employee unions in the mold of President Reagan firing the air traffic controllers -- an event that Walker said had led to the downfall of the Soviet Union -- and that he had considered (but ruled out) planting troublemakers in the crowds of protesters.

Palin's presence could provide useful measure of activist motivation on each side at this point in the saga. Back in February, a pro-Walker Tea Party rally at the Capitol featured an all-star cast that included Andrew Breitbart and Joe "The Plumber" Wurzelbacher.

However, out of the tens of thousands who showed up that day, only a few thousand were on the pro-Walker side -- with several times more demonstrators on the other.

30. Teabaggers plans for Saturday - "Tell everybody to bring vuvuzelas"
On Saturday, April 16th, tea party patriots from throughout Wisconsin will gather at the state Capitol in Madison for a rally to celebrate past victories and rally for Wisconsin’s future....

I found this on that "other site"
"Tell everybody to bring vuvuzelas... and blow the horns for 30 seconds at 1:00, then scream; “CAN YOU HEAR US NOW”

"Americans for Prosperity" (Koch Brothers) sending buses to the following cities hoping to fill them up with tea partiers: Green Bay, Oshkosh, Appleton, Fond du Lac, Kenosha, Racine, Waukesha, Milwaukee (2 pick up locations), Wausau and Eagle River

They had to cancel the LaCrosse but due to lack of interest by the LaCrosse Tea PArty

"Americans for Prosperity" has told people who are driving to Madison to park here:

Remote parking for Tax Day Rally
moved from MATC main parking lot
(Hoffman Street) to
MATC tennis court parking
(Wright Street and Starubel Street)
Madison, WI
Free shuttle from 10 am to 4 pm

Counter protestors are urged to get here early and fill this parking lot]/b]
