Milwaukee County has again pushed back the expected completion of its canvass
in the state Supreme Court race.

Election Commission Department Administrator Lisa Catlin Weiner said it was going slower than expected, but the canvass would be finished by tomorrow’s deadline.

According to the commission, there have been no significant changes in the vote totals.

6. I'd like it better if they found 9,000 votes for Kloppenberg
;)

Milwaukee Election Commissioner Robert Spindell the only GOP member ordered the cops and sheriff to guard the ballot boxes

4. If it stays like that, then it is at 0.489% of the total vote.
I think the threshold for a state-funded recount is 0.5%, so if Kloppenburg wants it she might be able to get a state-wide recount paid for.

10. Whether it's free is not the most significant thing about this
The difference between free and $5 per ward is small compared with the amount that will be spent on legal fees for a recount. Moreover, the Republicans will scream like you wouldn't believe about asking for a "futile" recount that "can't change the result" and "wasting taxpayers' money when the state is broke." I think we need one anyway.
