http://nationaljournal.com/whitehouse/obama-to-gop-you-think-we-re-stupid--20110415

This is in regard the garbage the republicans are playing, and yet bloomberg trys to paint it as though Obama is being unreasonable, and because of it will have a hard time getting his budget through

screw all of the media, INCLUDING bloomberg

The president has been taking garbage from the repukes since he took office, and NO ONE IN THE CORPORATE MEDIA CALLED THE REPUKES ON THAT!!!

It is about time Obama told them straight to cut the crap out

In my view THIS won't hurt him, but just the opposite, especially, if they now expose the repukes for what they are

Should have started this a long time ago

1. Good - they need to know he does play hard ball. Now the republicans can either get in the game
or go cry to mama media.

3. They are public now, via Bloomberg, and I have no doubt the other media sleeze will try to hit Obama
on this. What he needs to do is NOT back away from those remarks

After two years of taking all this garbage from the republicans, he has to fight as he never has done before

I understand what you mean though, actually start to draw the difference between the parties in public

9. People will respect the President on this, not only for standing up to bullies, but because he is
right on the issues

These "rand" atlas shurgered, jerks that are the republican party are going to have their ass handed to them on a plater. If this continues, people will realize very quickly that the repukes are NOT their friends

11. Oh, Gasp! The Pres stated a Truth!?!
Given that everything stated, even one-on-one with a politician is Absolutely Public Information, I highly doubt that the Pres is too worried about this "leak". I think he understands "mic-on/mic-off" makes mo difference when he is in public.

The media Is half the problem (at least) we have with mis-information, party/people division and shit stirring.
Does MSM surprise anybody with this sophomoric attempt to "keep the bs" stirred?

If they Really want to hear some "boner/ryan" slamming why aren't they sobbing over Us and the websites that alllow free speech?

12. OMG OMG
A Republican slammed OMG what will we do?
Maybe they should have a sit down with Nancy P. and get to the bottom of their feelings. She can probably help them learn how to grow a pair.

14. Five Republicans voted with the Democrats on Planned Parenthood.
Republicans voting against the stand-alone resolution to defund Planned Parenthood were: Sen. Scott Brown of Massachusetts, Sen. Mark Kirk of Illinois, Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Sens. Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe of Maine.

15. Presidents have taken garbage from (insert party or group) probably since
Edited on Fri Apr-15-11 09:14 AM by Obamanaut
the first one - I can only account for a few.

It's one of the hazards of being in the WH, and is not for the thin-skinned.

Edited to point out what the response referred to. "...The president has been taking garbage from the repukes since he took office..."

16. explaining to sons obamas position he is in, all things he has made decisions because repugs willing
Edited on Fri Apr-15-11 09:12 AM by seabeyond
to hurt people.

health care, unemployment/tax increase, this budget. the repugs willing to hurt people. it is like the abortion issue in states. repugs reducing abortion rights and though the pro choice should be taking them to court, they dont with the court we have roe vs wade in jeopardy. so abortion rights are being taken away per state against supreme court ruling and pro choice does nothing

we can rant at pro choice, but reality is, with the supreme court it is a huge deal.

it really is on the people. it is on the people as a nation to not allow, and i dont see we are there yet.

the exact thing with wisc, and though it is making people angry, not enough yet.

17. I'd suspect that this kind of reaction was...
.. completely expected. For me, how the reaction gets played by Obama will be more telling than his speech yesterday. If he grabs it and shoves it right back at the righties and their lapdog media, he's going to generate a ton of good will to those of us that have become disillusioned over the past two years. I hope he body-slams these creeps until they lie whimpering on their backs.
