3. The true believer wingnuts like Paul Ryan view VA benefits as welfare.
Edited on Fri Apr-15-11 05:26 PM by TxVietVet
I kid you not. He was my representative until I moved away from there. I had written a letter to Ryan concerning funding of the VA when bu$h was pretzeldent. bu$h and the conservanazis were underfunding the VA at the same time they created two wars thus creating more veterans. Ryan's letter back to me was basically that he thought that VA benefits should go to those who were wounded in actual combat. Screw everyone else.

Wingnuts think they can pick and choose who gets benefits. If you're a good conservanazi and a soldier, surprise, you get benefits. F*ck the rest of you.

I firmly believe what you stated.

The conservanazis, like Paul Ryan, only care about the rich elite of this country.

BTW, Batshit Crazy Michelle Bachmann, farm subsidy welfare queen, made remarks that she wanted to cut veteran's benefits. The VA sent me a letter. I'll see if I can find it. The goofy bitch retracted her statement real fast. Like I say, the conservanazis view VA benefits as WELFARE.

7. I called my repuke congressman over Michelle Bachmann's nuttery....
Our VA health coverage is the only coverage we have. Losing that would be a blow like no other.

The repukes are so in love with privatizing everything that there's no doubt they'd set their sights on VA health care if they got their way on Medicare.

6. Yep. And they'll arrange it by making governmnet vouchers available
to the vets, to allow them to use private insurance and private facilities (actually, it will be the same facilities, but they'd have been sold to private interests). Instead of the focus being on healthcare, it will be on getting them in & out the door at a profit.

9. my brother in law went to one va hospital because of liver cancer.
the hospital wanted him to go into an trial program using a approved drug and a non approved drug by a major corp. he said no then sent his papers with a friend(who has liver cancer) to his va hospital. the hospital called back the following day and the doctor told the other hospital was full of shit and he`d see him the following day.

he has a choice to go where ever he wants in the country and within a 100 miles we have one of the best va hospital and university hospitals in the nation.

once they privatize the va the care will be ..well medical experiments for a reduced bill.
