1. Birthers just a distraction issue

Republicans are pretty damn good at causing distractions that keep the heat off the main issues. They know if they can cause even a few to doubt Obama's birthright, they stand a better chance in the upcoming 2012 election year. Just as Reagan's Star Wars project was a distraction to the Russians during the Cold War, Republicans think they can gain more support if they distract the more dimwitted voters to doubt Obama's citizenship. Republicans are the greatest at playing the Shell Game. But, the Tea Baggers are going to ruin everything for the Republicans.
