If left-wing bias is the inevitable outcome when there's a free market in media ... |
|
then is now the time to make it illegal for any broadcaster to continue to operate unless it receives approval from the Republican Party?

1. If the "free market" provides what the public desires ... |
|
then why the hell are all the talk radio stations in "liberal/overwhelmingly Democrat" Northeast Ohio all CONSERVATIVE F*CKING TALKERS???
You would think that the market would be going toward providing what the public leans toward ...
(and don't give me "hey, they tried 'liberal' radio with Jerry Springer" ...JS was not good for radio format)

2. The type of person who listens to "talk radio" is the angry conservative. So, it's geared to them. |
|
Apparently liberals don't spend hours and hours listening to "talk radio" so it's not geared towards them.
Truthfully, I use radio for music and a little bit of news. I don't want "talk radio" in my ears all day long, no matter whether is left-wing or right-wing.

3. I'm the same way. I'm in a metro area with like 8 million ppl. Not a single lefty radio show. |
|
They even put the righty talkers on FM! In a prime spot on the dial. All day, rightwing talkers on 95.5
Anyway, even if we had left wing shows here, I doubt I'd listen to them very often if at all. I like to crank my tunes.
