Teabagger Fail in Madison, with Half Governor and Breitbart.. |
|
Reports are that less than a thousand people have turned out for the Koch Brothers-sponsored Teabagger rally today in Madison, Wisconsin, despite the featured appearance of half-governor Sarah Palin. And the few wingnuts who showed up were confronted with hundreds of pro-union counter-protesters. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110416/ap_on_re_us/us_wisconsin_tax_rally
It’s still going on, with one deranged Tea Party loon after another taking the microphone. Here’s a live video feed; http://www.channel3000.com/localvideo/index.html?v=live they’re using Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA” as background music, which probably irritates him enormously. They’re using the music of one of the most pro-union musicians in America in an agenda to destroy unions.
Andrew “Fraudster” Breitbart just took the stage, proclaiming “the death of community organizing.”http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/38400_Teabagger_Fail_in_Madison_with_Half_Governor_and_Breitbart

6. Heart had to send the McCain campaign a letter to stop the "Barracuda" pilfering. |
|
They keep using these songs, and then the artists are forced to ask their lawyers to send letters so that these creeps will stop using their music.

4. I guess they're celebrating the unsubstantiated rise of corporate organizing. |

Somehow, I find "Kill the EPA and make our air dirtier so Koch Industries can make higher profits!" less than inspiring.

8. That was the twit that got busted for his fake ACORN trap who later was arrested |
|
for trying to wire tap a congresswoman's phones who then decided the best way out of that was to try to seduce a news reporter on a boat, a 20' sailboat is a poor mans yacht and doesn't fall into the same category as a 40' cabin cruiser which is a high end middle class yacht, very cheesy guy.

14. It is a message -- but it's not all that coded |
|
Partly it has to do with the crap Glenn Beck spouts about Saul Alinsky and Frances Fox Piven. They make that the center of their conspiracy theories -- and then they tie in Obama, because he worked as a community organizer, and ACORN.
So the message that comes across is (1) stops those evil commie socialists by (2) destroying anybody who tries to organize poor people or middle-class communities to take power into their own hands.
Pretty simple, really.
