I wish more info would come out about Gabby Giffords' condition

We're told that she's talking, but beyond that no information has been given about her condition, especially now that people are fundraising for her reelection campaign. How bad was the damage? Is she able to function on an adult level? Is there memory loss? When this whole disaster started, they were very good at updating on her condition, but now it seems like they've stopped giving out any info.
