For your forum, select the one at the very top, which is Big Forums (Conference). This won't include the topic forums.
When you see the results, be aware that you're seeing threads in which an individual has participated. The person in question might have posted several times in one thread.
Check out the notes about what is archived. Just searching the Big Forums will miss posts from the specified time frames. A little clumsy I guess but I think it's the best we can do for now.
