Bankers,CEOs,Stockholders, and other titans of industry I have a request. Please Go Galt.
Seriously don't let us mere mortals hold back your creative genius any longer. You are right we are holding you back by expecting you to pay people a livable wage, and expecting healtcare, education, and other services for those who work for you. So leave your companies, mansions, and yachts behind. Go, live in some cave where there is no evil government to stifle your creative genius. One more thing, don't come back either, because the workers, the REAL producers, the real Atlas's who hold the world on their shoulders, will be much better off without you. So please "Go Galt."

6. It really is like a religion.
If you dare criticize "Miss Rand" than you are unreasonable and foolish.

3. Make them do it
Withdraw your consent. Don't buy their products. If you can at all, don't work for them - I used to work in fast food and my husband let me quit because I started cutting to deal with it and I was going crazy and he said he was really worried about me and that I may have been close to a psychotic break and that it wasn't worth it.

I eventually found a job with a small local business that is run as ethically and humanely as it can be under the present status quo, and I am so much happier and saner. I realize that's not an option for everyone, but it is something to think about if you can do it.

We need to shut them out of our lives. Don't give them your money or your time or your attention. Turn off your TV. Boycott them. Give all your money and support to local small business and people who live in your community. Pay a hell of a lot of attention to local politics and do your best to get good decent people in local positions, and if that financial martial law comes to your state fight it like hell - personally, if that ever happened in my town, I'd be out in the streets going door to door pushing for a general strike.

The people in Wisconsin and Michigan need to start thinking about striking, by the way. The system is broken. We can't depend on it. Not saying it's not useful to do what you can within it, but you need to start thinking about what you can do outside the system too.

8. In the book, they didn't just leave peacefully.
They maliciously destroyed everything before they vanished.

9. I'll be honest. I've never read it.
I keep meaning to, but it just seems so boring and hateful.

11. You really should read it if you want to get a glimpse into
the minds of the wealthy, and the people who are supporting them. Of course, all the supporter will be left behind when their "call to god" occurs, but they don't see that part of it.

It really isn't that horrible of a read. I found it laughable, but it was not really boring. Just a really stupid premise. (well, to be truthful, Galt's speech was a sleeper, I think I skimmed several pages of that.)

15. In the book they were single handedly responsible for
every productive act, every decision capable to sustaining anything, and every business that works.

That is pure delusion. In the real world these so-called titans can and would be replaced. They don't really have any monopoly on skills, talents or abilities.

Even if they shutter their own businesses and hoard their own wealth in vaults somewhere, devastating the economy in the process, we would then finally be able to recover and rebuild without their insufferable interference!

Other people, with the skills and talents but without the greed, and without the roots in the culture of cronyism and corruption, would finally be able to rise to the top. The recovery, as it happened, could be a real recovery that could permanently replace the criminals and seal them out of the systems and industries they abandoned.

Good riddance to them!

13. I think we also need to be more openly creative about semantics.
These "Bankers" are not so much "Bankers" as Banking Criminals.

If we start calling them that, then they might see a rise in blood pressure.

Lawdy only knows how many of us have seen a rise in blood pressure because of their immoral practices.

The fact that immoral behavior is sanctioned by our "code of law" doesn't make it less immoral.

Bankers turned banking into a casino-style industry, while employing media Talking Heads who call that all superstitious nonsense and "conspiracy-based" theory. They also launder huge amounts of illegal drug-bought currency every year. That currency being laundered is one of the many reasons why nothing is at all transperent in the world of high finances.)
