Gotta Do It. My Apologies...'Bachmann: Obama has neglected to prove eligibility'
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2706413/posts

Funniest thing I have read in a very long time.

Whirled Nutz Daily (Sometimes even a few times a day!)

U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., says President Obama has neglected to clearly demonstrate he's eligible to hold his office, and says it would be simple for him to do so.

"It's an interesting issue that has gone on for so long and it's one that the president could have solved very early on," Bachmann told Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro last night.

"All he had to do is just answer some questions and show his document and then have people do an attestation that this in fact is a legal document and it's over, it's done. And I think the president has neglected to focus on answering that question for people, and that's why a lot of people still have it lingering in their minds. None of us can prove, none of us can do attestation. Only the president and someone who is legally tasked with attesting to the validity of that document can do that, and I think that's what the president should do."

Bachmann, who is considering her own run for president next year, said, "One thing I know is that people have weighed President Obama in the balance, and he's been found wanting. I think we have a real opportunity to win back the White House. And again, it's not about a political party winning, it's about taking the country back. That's the bigger issue, and I think it's really gonna happen in 2012."

THE PROOF!!!!11!!!

Bless their little hearts. Hooked on Phonics didn't work for them.

1. She's such an idiot
God. I don't know what else to say. She's an idiot. An absolute idiot. Truly, truly she is one of the stupid. I'm sure if you whisper in her ear you'll hear an echo.

2. I pointed out in another post that my two children were born abroad.
We have certificates of American citizen born abroad for them.

There is no way that any state in the Union would have any sort of record of their births.

I do not think that Hawaii COULD have issued any kind of record related to Obama's birth had he been born anywhere but Hawaii.

You could not, let's say, give birth to a child in Maine and then register that birth in California's statistical records of birth. I just don't think you can do that.

I'm not sure what my husband did to register the births of our children, but I think he went either to the American embassy or to an American Consulate. So, the birth records reflect the exact town and country of their birth and those towns and countries were not in the US.

I don't think there is any way to register a birth that takes place abroad as taking place in the US. Correct me if I am wrong, but I really don't think so.

3. You know how they read that?

The birthers are so dense that they read it as the children of "citizens" - meaning two citizens because it is plural.

Completely neglecting the fact that "children" is also plural.

So, in the birther view, both parents have to be citizens AND the child has to be a twin, in order to be a natural born citizen.

Dumber than stumps, they are.
