Look at Astronomy PIcture of The Day, April 18, 2011 AWESOME !

It is a video, about 15 minutes, of Hubble space pictures, and some animation of planets, supernovas, nebulae, and other awesome stuff that is out there, set to classical style music. For me it bordered on being a religious experience. The Universe is so beautiful and majestic.

No matter which web browser I use (Safari, Camino, Firefox) all I see is a big black rectangle... no images at all.

But I have Vimeo videos on a whitelist within my blocker on my Mac.

5. I wonder why you're blocking Flash. In my experience on a PC with Linux, Flash freezes

my system (at unpredictable times) and the only way out is a hard reboot.

6. Flash is a memory hog that slows your browsing experience.

It's an antiquated technology that most web designers/developers are starting to shun.

Nowadays it's mostly used for Flash Video, which essentially takes a modern, open video file and encases it in a closed, old technology.

YouTube and others are converting their videos with an eye on abandoning Flash down the road.

7. Not completely blocking Flash, but I do have to click to get Flash to play.

If a Flash video is on a page, all I get at first is a square with an "f" icon in the middle, and if I want to see whatever it is, I have to click on that icon... this is true for me on Youtube as well. However with the video on the page linked above, I don't get that icon, just a huge black rectangle... I guess my system or browsers are not compatible with Vimeo.
