I thought it was a parody. Young women in suits, talking about how their hooters jobs lead to later career success the cuts from the young women wearing suits to wearing low cut tight tshirts is ridiculous http://www.lipstickalley.com/f46/they-serious-hooters-commercial-296242/

6. Haven't seen the Hooter's ads |
|
But I have been hearing ad nauseam on the radio the Wal*Mart ads about "William" (whom the narrator fully expects to be his boss one day), and how swell things have been for William ever since he started working at Wal*Mart. William got hired on right out of high school, got a promotion to section manager just a couple of months in, and recently turned down a job offer from a major national bank! And, because William is black, you too can fully expect the same treatment if you go to work at Wal*Mart.
And not a peep about the thousands of employees whose hours are artificially kept below the threshold to qualify for benefits. Never a word about working through your shift without a bathroom break. No mention of clocking out at 5 p.m., but being expected to work for a couple of hours off the clock if you expect to keep your job. And on and on.
