Rand also dismissed the feminist movement as a “false” and “phony” issue, said a female commander in chief would be “unspeakable,” characterized Arabs as “almost totally primitive savages,” and called government efforts to aid the handicapped and educate “subnormal children” an attempt to “bring everybody to the level of the handicapped.”

The interviewer asks her (paraphrased) 'you have said that if a man or woman is weak that they are not worthy of love'; Rand replies 'That is true.' Then he says 'so very few of us, by your standards, are worthy of love' and she replies 'Unfortunately, very few'.

End of interview.

Then we see Paul Ryan again, saying 'That is the kind of thinking, the kind of writing, that is sorely needed right now.'

Don't know whether to laugh or cry over that one

If someone is sick, injured, weak in some way, lacking in resources, overwhelmed by circumstances or life, the are "unworthy of love", according to Ayn Rand and Paul Ryan.
