The reason Beck got canned by Fox |
|
There's a lot out there about why Fox canned Beck. It's far simpler than the theories out there. He was going to be bad for the republican party. There's plenty of stories about republicans worried about being defined by Beck. Beck made them look crazy. So what happens? Beck is gone before the primaries really get going. It's no surprise.

2. They don't care about money. If they did, the NY Post would shut down. |
|
The Post sells for .25 cents at a loss. This was a problem until it became part of the original Fox network.

3. The conservanazi republiklans couldn't be associated with beckkk's conspiracies anymore. |
|
I'm sure beckkk has plenty more where that came from. He's going to feed more bu$hit to the conservanazi toadies, I'm sure. He was pushing his religion and all the other crap, but I think his big downfall was that he couldn't keep sponsors. Groups were telling his sponsors to drop him. He may have had ratings but he wasn't bringing in the sponsors' money. beckkk became a liability to FOX Not-the-News. Too f*cking bad.

4. The GOP created the Tea Party, now they have to deal with them |
|
They created the Tea Party; the teabaggers represent the core of the Republican Party, the only difference is that they don't wear expensive three-piece suits. That, and they have no problems vocalizing their racist views, whereas your "traditional" rethugs tend to pretend they're not racist while pushing racist policies.

discuss Color of Change or Van's campaign for advertisers to boycott Beck's show. It was just more of the same "radical progressive yadda yadda" nonsense.
He also had some nonsense about gas prices on his bulletin board. I'm sure it will come as absolutely no surprise that his solution to the coming "energy crisis" was more domestic oil production, more coal, more nuclear, and more wars in the sandbox.
I also noticed that there were a few glossy ads. I think some of the advertisers who were part of the Color of Change boycott aren't waiting until his last show to start buying ads in that timeslot. Sucks to know that Faux News will make more ad money on the last few episodes of Beck's shit-tackular show.
