"destructive." Ohio Gov. Kasich's First 100 days.
That is one Ohio Democrat's description of our Gov. first 100 days.

Democratic House Minority Leader Armond Budish called Kasich's first 100 days "destructive."

"At a time when we need to come together across the state, the governor is tearing us apart," Budish said. "His policies are extremely divisive, and purposefully so."

Kasich will hold a news conference at 9:45 this morning to review his time in office. In a fundraising letter sent yesterday to supporters inviting them to follow the 100th-day event on the Internet, Kasich highlighted what he considers some of his early achievements:

2. heard an interesting observation on NPR the other day ...
Wall Street John Kasich is moving at warp 27 when it comes to "job creation" tax cuts and de-regulation ...

BUT ...

You have four casinos that THE COMPANIES ARE WILLING TO FINANCE TO BUILD (unlike Diebold's $56 million bribe, and Republican Bernie Kosar's American Greetings bribe, to "stay" in Ohio) ... and Wall Street John Kasich is blocking them, saying "it needs more study" ... construction jobs (which took a hit also when the money was there to do high-speed rail), all kinds of jobs around (and can you imagine the number of security jobs that the casinos would create???) ... gone ...

5. Oh Yeah. By The Way, Thank You For All Of This, "Principled" Non-Voters
You REALLY showed the Democratic Party. And in 4 years, when Ohio resembles Rwanda, you can sit back, puff out your principled chest, and say, "I helped cause this." How 'bout next time, instead of staying home, stamping your widdle feet, and holding your breath, you come down off your high horses, get off your lazy asses, and come down to the polls and do your F'ing civic duty.

6. I hope you aren't accusing me of being a "non-voter."

7. I Think It's Pretty Obvious From Your Post That You Disdain The Non-Voter As Much As I Do
My post was aimed at any "principled" non-voters who happen to be reading this thread. They know who they are. And I hope they feel proud of themselves for unleashing this boundless evil on their fellow Ohioans.

4. Kasich Makes Me Wistful For The Halcyon Days Of Bob Taft
Yes, Bob Taft, the most corrupt, bumbling, criminal, inept Governor, probably in the history of the entire nation. Yes, Bob Taft, who had an approval rating of 19% when he left office. Here's my prediction: when Kasich leaves office (hopefully in handcuffs--hey, I can dream, can't I?), his approval rating will be lower than Taft's.

8. Do I correctly recall that Ike ran, in part, to deny the pub nomination to Bob Taft, a
breath of fresh air and choir boy compared to Herr Kasich? :patriot:
