New Labor: A Worldwide “We Party”
http://reverendmanny.com/2011/04/18/new-labor-a-worldwide-we-party/

Over the course of the last few months the keen political observer will have seen a strange new UnderLeft shifting turbulently, leader-free and just fine with that situation. There is in many ways a New Labor movement at last forming, flexible, fast and big enough to finally tackle the gun-and-money bullying that has gone global for well over 2 centuries now.

This new labor movement is not necessarily centered around unions or “workplace gains.” This New Labor movement does not demand just short term localized economic goals.

Old Labor has been beaten and lapped the world over by the banksters and the industries they control. For generations now the corporations and moneyed-aristocracy have engaged in a global-scale pilfering of goods, man-hours, commons and environmental resources.

Old Labor, snug in the role of house servant to the rich countries, ignored the growing plight of overseas workers, refusing to organize across borders for fears of being labeled an “internationalist” (a conservative dog-whistle term for “commie”).
