4. I hope he gets treated better there.
Fort Leavenworth's military corrections complex houses the United States Disciplinary Barracks, the US army's maximum security prison, and the Midwest Joint Regional Correctional Facility, where Manning is thought most likely to be held while awaiting trial.

6. Ft. Leavenworth
http://www.cnn.com/2011/CRIME/04/19/wikileaks.suspect/
A defense official initially told CNN Manning was moving to the U.S. Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth, but later corrected that information.

"Now is the appropriate time to transfer him as a pre-trial confinee," the official said. "Fort Leavenworth is more appropriate for long-term pre-trial confinement."

I hope this is a good thing.

8. well they built a new facility there
eventually everyone in the army at least will go to leavenworth, either to the max security Disciplinary Barracks or the medium security confinement facility (which I assume will also include pretrial confinees).

I really think this was a marine problem/issue, and that the army will not treat him as badly. I have some experience in this area thanks to my prior jobs.
