4. Me, too.
It's the only way I get to see any hockey. And, I couldn't agree more about MLB on Fox. It's almost as bad as was the NHL on Fox. Remember the blue streaks they had following the puck? Bleh.

10. I remember those.
I never hated TV so much as the first time I saw those blue streaks behind the puck.

15. The same Fox Sports network that wanted to pixellate the logos
of the sponsors on NASCAR racers as Fox was not getting directly compensated by those sponsors!

There was a huge fan/viewership outcry, and that plan was quickly scrapped!

2. Yeah
It sucks in a way because it's always the same teams most the time like washington or pittsburgh. Plus it's only 1 game a week too. So not much there. 2 billion for 52 games a year for 10 years? Bad deal.

9. Well at least with the Blackhawks
Eddie Olczyk does the commentary for both NBC and Verses, so for me they are basically the same. lol

8. So? This isn't news. It's a regular practice.
And it's not just "one game a week". It's profit for NBC. The same is done with NBC and football, as well as CBS and FOX, FOX with baseball, and ESPN and such with everything. This is nothing new or surprising.

11. "I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out"
Rodney Dangerfield

I used to like to watch the games but about playoff time they'd be fights in the audience. screw that.
