I just got back from the rally in support of a recount in Wisconsin. There were about 75 passionate souls there and a bunch of TV cameras. Met 2 DUers there as well :) The rumor is that Kloppenburg will make her announcement at 4pm. We were encouraged strongly to spread the word that she needs to know we are behind her. If you support this recount and haven't yet emailed her, please do so ASAP. THANK YOU!

A recount is important even beyond your own campaign. There is definitely a deepening distrust of election results since the 2000 presidential elections and things like Prosser's miraculously found votes isn't helping to ease those fears. If only for the sake of confidence in our democratic process, PLEASE insist on a recount.

Looking at the big picture of what has been happening in Wisconsin, I sincerely hope that you will request a hand count of all the votes statewide.  The passion & enthusiasm levels of both sides do not match up with the election results.  I refuse to believe that Wisconsinites chose to close their last bastion of justice by giving the Republicans a majority on the Supreme Court.

Please support checks & balances in Wisconsin's election process by requesting a thorough handcount statewide.
