4. Unfortunately, by the time you wade thru the story
you find there are NO numbers, NO amount of GE taxes mentioned. Just words that say they will pay
"a small amount" of taxes.

GE pay their damn taxes... Between the original story and the brilliant joke played on them they realized that if they wanted to see 5 billion dollar profits again next year they better pony up.


Here is the line that gives it away:

Will GE ultimately pay U.S. income taxes for 2010? After much to-ing and fro-ing -- the company says it hasn't completed its 2010 tax return -- GE now says that it will pay tax.

Translation: We will knock back on a couple of loopholes and pay something so we don't look like the scumbags we are.

If you think GE wouldn't have taken the 3.2 billion dollar credit and reduced their payment to 0 had it not been for the whole fucking country raising a stink about it you are sadly mistaken.
