The President was still on message today...

He continued his crusade to protect the social safety net which he began a week ago today. With a young billionaire by his side, he called on the wealthy to pay more in taxes.

But where are the other Democrats? Why are they not echoing the President's message? I suppose they are still wary that it will cost them the next election? They are fearful.

But the President needs the Democrats in the House and Senate by his side in this battle. This is a fight not only for the Medicare program as we know it but also, for the Democratic Party as we know it. It is time for the Democrats to come out of hiding.

The President doesn't need the Gang of Six looking for a compromise with the devil. There should be no compromise with the Ryan plan. These Democrats are terribly misguided. They are working against the President and our Party.

4. My email has several messages from Democrats,

Barbara Boxer, Patty Murray and others to sign petitions and show up at our reps offices, the ones who voted for this like mine did, to let them know what a bad thing they did. So other Democrats are working at this. It's just that you won't see it on the media.
